Sweet daughter, you are 8!

I take a lot of pictures of my children. Who doesn’t I guess? But according to my daughter I must take the most! LOL ! She does however, kindly agree to let me take her with me for a short little while to capture some nice pictures of HER, her personality, when she has turned a year older. Look what awesome, cute shots I got of my big girl! 🙂 Happy mommy! Happy 8th birthday sweetest blessing on Earth! I took these a few months after she turned 8 while on vacation in beautiful Sweden. Glad I did! 🙂

Bellies, I love bellies. There is something magical about the look of a pregnant mother. The knowing of a soon to be little human being. I had so much fun with this couple, whom were expecting their first baby. I also discovered a new place to shoot at. Thank you for showing me Phillipe Park. An amazingly beautiful park in Safety Harbour. I had never been here and I feel as if I really visit so many new places all the time and apparently there are many more. 🙂 LOVE this place that I call home, and all the beautiful places there are around here for exploring and of course for shooting. 🙂

Look at these gorgeous girls! What a fun shoot. They are so different both in look and personality and I think I captured that very well. Loved to have the time to stroll around with them alone in gorgeous Boyd Hill, one of my favorite places to shoot. We did ask mommy to join in at the end because that is IMPORTANT. Fashion shoot in the wilderness!

If you find a gorgeous wilderness, close to the mountains, with amazingly fresh air and a herd or grazing cows and a herd of grazing goats, and a hand full! of mosquitoes and on top of that a beautiful, humble woman, things just cannot go wrong. I was mesmerized with this place and when I visited here I immediately thought; I need to shoot here. I was lucky to work with this gorgeous girl and she rocked it out, not worried about being run over by a big cow or being chewed on by a goat, nor did she mind the millions of mosquitoes. What a wonderful evening we had at fabulous Fort De Soto. There are just so many different places to shoot down there, one better than the other. The fort is so great with its amazing walls and texture and light as well. Yum! Sisters in the rain!

I had fun in the rain photographing these little adorable girls. The session was rater quickly done since we had some lovely summer rain drizzling down on us. Rain does help create some pretty magical images with the reflections it makes and the actual drops in the pictures. Love that so much. However the subjects sometimes might run out of fume trying to escape the rain. These two little sweets however, did not. They trooped out and helped me create some pretty cool stuff!

Look at this beautiful mother. Isn’t she glowing? I had such a blast photographing her in our beautiful scenery that we have here in northern Sweden. The light is amazing this time of year. I think everyone should pamper themselves to a shoot while pregnant. The time as pregnant seems to last a long time, but really doesn’t it fly by? And a lot of times all that was captured was that I phone shot of mama in sweatpants in front of the mirror! NO, you are worth more than that. You are beautiful and glowing, show it off for yourself and remember that special time in your life when you carried that little precious gift.

Daughter….there is no one like you. What a lucky mother I am to have been blessed with you. Today is your 7th birthday. It feels like it was yesterday I asked “so is it a boy or a girl”. 🙂 You did not rush into this world and you surely do not rush now. You take in the moments and live lovingly and you live passionately. You are easy going, very caring, and sensitive.Today is the best day in my life. The very best day! Happy birthday sweetheart! These were a few images you so kindly let me capture this past weekend. By now you have grown a bit tired of my camera, but I asked if I could have a photo shoot with you, for me.
